SWF....Bombay Hook NWR

For my Skywatch Friday photos I am showing the sunset I saw at Bombay Hook on March 19. It was the same day we saw the Supermoon.  I thought the sunset was beautiful, the sky turned a pretty orange color and the reflection was so colorful.

 I love seeing colorful sunsets and on this day I was not disappointed. Below the reflection looking like a cross really looks gorgeous.



We watched as the sun disappeared behind the trees.

  1. I had hoped to capture a sunset picture as well on the evening of the supermoon. The clouds didn't cooperate. Your sunset pictures are stunning.

  14. Ah, those lovely, flat, eternal east-coast oceans. So different from the Pacific Coast, and beautiful in a way that pulls all the calm of the ocean up to where we can appreciate it.

  22. Beautiful Skywatch pictures. It does look like a
    "golden cross" on the water--very inspiring. The sunset is "here and gone" so quickly, one has to snap fast-- and you certainly did. Perfect pictures. Mickie :)
