SWF......Chincoteague Island NWR

For Skywatch Friday  these are some sunset shots I took this past Sunday at Chincoteague Island NWR. Hubby and I took an overnight trip to see the birds, ponies and the beautiful scenery.








Watching the sunset is another great part of going to Chincoteague after seeing some great birds during the day.

  5. These are astonishingly beautiful, Eileen! They truly took my breath away! What a glorious way to begin or end a day! And these colors are indeed glorious! Your captures are superb! You get better every week! I've always wanted to visit Chincoteague Island as I've always been a horse lover and have read a lot about this island. Have a beautiful weekend!

  14. Eileen, These shots are stunning--just too beautiful. I always wanted to visit Chincoteague Island after reading the book Misty of Chincoteague back when I was in grade school. Looks like a beautiful place--now I really will make an effort to get there someday. Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
